About Brian

I'm Brian Dinkel, a Kansas City multifamily investment specialist with Platinum Realty, operating as BD Real Estate Solutions. I work exclusively with multifamily and investment property: duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and small apartment buildings in Kansas City, Overland Park and the rest of Johnson County, Lawrence, and Topeka. I started as an investor myself. In 2006 I began buying distressed properties, and for the next seven years I flipped houses and built a portfolio of long-term rentals. Today I close about 20 multifamily deals a year, mostly for out-of-state investors, and I'm the Kansas City agent for Out of Town Landlord, a national network of investor-friendly agents. Since most of my clients can't be here in person, I walk every property myself, underwrite each deal from real rent rolls and expenses instead of the listing's pro forma, and give honest feedback, not a sales pitch.
