Michael Kolbus is originally from Peoria, IL but started his real estate career in Brooklyn, NY as a research analyst & marketing coordinator for Marcus & Millichap’s New York Multifamily Team. During that time, he underwrote hundreds of properties and created custom marketing packages for his team’s listings. He quickly transitioned into a full-time investment sales broker, focusing on multifamily, mixed-use, and industrial property sales. In 2023, he joined the Capital Markets Team at Cushman & Wakefield in Manhattan. At C&W, Michael specialized in North Brooklyn mixed-use, industrial, office, specialty projects and development site sales. In 2024, Michael brought his experience back to Peoria and joined his parents at RE/MAX Traders Unlimited where he continues to focus on commercial investment sales in Central IL.
