EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE A native of Bloomfield Hills and Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Kirste has called Chicago home since graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a degree in interior design. In the corporate world, Kirste ran a $2.5 million business for Oscar de la Renta perfumes within each of Marshall Field and Co.'s 17 stores, hiring, supplying and developing product promotions. Husband Dave and she own ComedySportz, a Lincoln Park improv theater, as well and Dave and Co., which produces live multimedia shows for major corporations around the world. Whatever needed to be done for those startups, Kirste rolled up her sleeves and got to it. That's Kirste. Patient, hardworking, focused. The children attend St. Clement School and St. Ignatius College Prep, where their daughter competes in lacrosse and sailing. Their sons are Chicago Jet hockey players. A big lacrosse family, the children play with Chicago Youth Lacrosse. Athletes all, the family enjoys the Saddle & Cycle Club. Kirste plays for a doubles team at Midtown Tennis Club, ranked 4.5 Kirste loves walking Michigan's white pine forests with her dog, a daily game of tennis, and her Little Harbor Club summer reunions with extended family in Harbor Springs, Michigan.
