About Karen

I am an established North Shore native. I was raised in Wilmette and moved to Northbrook as a young adult. My husband and I purchased our first home there and then moved to the Town of Fort Sheridan where we have lived for the past 18 years. My home is a historical site which I restored with my husband. This was a satisfying experience given our deep connection with the community. As a young man, my husband had enlisted in the Army at Fort Sheridan and later served as the first City Administrator of Highwood. During that time he helped transition Fort Sheridan into a premier residential community. We have raised our three children here and have enjoyed the lakefront, forested ravines, and paths that traverse the 400 acres of beautiful open space in our town. I am proud to be a member of the Griffith, Grant and Lackie team. My corporate experience in finance brings skills that are well-suited to real estate. These include analytical thinking, communication, and innovation. Clients have always been my top priority. I understand how much selling or purchasing a home impacts one’s life.
