Education and training Graduated George Wingate High School in 1976, in Brooklyn N.Y. Attended Brooklyn College for one year. 1976-1977. Attended De Paul University in 1981, studied Art, Architecture and French. Chicago Real Estate Institute in 1999, Licensed Realtor. Truman College in 2012. Received a Certified Nursing Associate certification. A little bit about Dawn Dawn Evans is a Real Estate professional who has a diverse range of customer service training and believes that client-related services should always be dealt with intelligence, integrity, and love of humanity. Prior to settling in to her real estate career, held various retail sales jobs, some of which included, Marshall Field’s and Ann Taylor, Inc. These experiences helped shape and strengthen her customer service skills. Dawn’s drive to work with people, utilize her knowledge of customer service, and her love of architecture and design led her to get her real estate license in 1999. Since then, she has worked with buyers, sellers, residential, multi-unit investors, and mixed use property owners. Ready for a partnership with a well-known real estate corporation, Dawn joined Coldwell Banker. Collaborating with great people and colleagues through trainings and other learning environments offered by the company is what she thought was necessary for her career in an ever-evolving market. Staying true to her love of working with people, Dawn also recently received in 2012 a Certified Nursing Assistant certificate. Her most recent job involved caring for a Parkinson's patient in the late stages of the disease. She has previously dedicated her spare time to volunteering for different organizations such as, Children's Memorial Hospital, working with Spina Bifida patients, the Taste of Lincoln Festival as a volunteer coordinator, and the re-election committee for Vi Daley. An area resident, she has been a member of the Margate Park Block Club for many years. When she’s not out and about in the community selling real estate or volunteering, Dawn spends time with her two small dogs. Her “babies”, as she likes to call them, are Handsome a miniature poodle who is 15 years old in 2014, and Betsy a mixed breed of Shih Tzu and Maltese.
