My journey to becoming a trusted real estate professional wasn’t traditional, but it’s one of the reasons I love what I do. After graduating college and navigating nearly a decade of career changes, I found stability, purpose, and joy in real estate—a profession where I can combine my experience, passion, and dedication to help others. It all started when a neighbor, who sold their home without an agent, came to me with questions. As a mortgage loan originator, I had a solid understanding of the process and was happy to help. When a last-minute issue nearly derailed their closing, I stepped in with a calm approach, resolved the problem, and earned their gratitude. Their parting words, “You should be a real estate agent because you never panic,” planted the seed for my next chapter. In March 2003, I earned my real estate license and haven’t looked back. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding. I know what it’s like to live in a home that no longer fits your family’s needs—like squeezing a crib and a desk into a too-small bedroom. It’s these experiences that inspired me to develop my Move Smart Method, a personalized process to guide my clients from where they are now to where they want to be. Whether you're buying your first home, upgrading to fit a growing family, or downsizing to simplify life, I provide honest advice and a steady hand through every step of the journey. I believe the best service comes from asking tough questions, listening carefully, and drawing on both my professional expertise and personal experience. When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my wife, Adrienne, exploring Chicago, or enjoying a long run with friends.
