About Connie

My name is Connie Ferris, I have lived in Kankakee County my entire life, married my husband Daryl in 1988 and have three boys and 5 grandchildren. I worked at Cigna for 10 years and then stayed home to raise my children. After they started school I went to work for Herscher school district for 12 years. In 2019, I became a Real Estate broker in both Illinois and NW Indiana, majority of my business is in Illinois. As an agent my main focus is assisting sellers with preparing their home to get top dollar in this competitive market. I also stage vacant homes, at no charge, so potential buyers can envision themselves living there. There is great satisfaction when you can help a buyer find the perfect home. I especially enjoy working with first time homeowners as well as seniors downsizing. Both generally take more time but helping someone find their first home and most likely their last home is really rewarding. Real estate is about building relationships. Some of those relationships last till closing and others a lifetime. I can truly say that I love my job!
