DAVID FENTON Legacy Ranch Properties | Keller Williams Realty East Idaho David Fenton has called Idaho Falls home for the past 28 years, after he left Cache Valley, Utah to pursue a career in high-end furniture. He started out doing a wood-turning apprenticeship and worked his way up, eventually moving into leadership, becoming the Director of Manufacturing. It was in that role that Dave discovered and implemented ‘Lean Manufacturing’ across the plant — a shift that aligned the entire company into teams that increased their output four-fold. Along the way, he earned the company a national manufacturing award, which recognized them not only for what they built but for the world-class manufacturing practices they had implemented. That's the standard Dave holds himself to in everything he does: find out what “the best” looks like in a given field, then put in whatever time and effort it takes to get there. In 2006, he made the shift to the other side of the business, becoming VP of Sales and Marketing. This had him traveling the country selling high-end furniture and cabinetry to discerning interior designers, builders, architects, and end consumers. With his knowledge and background, he was able to sit down with a client and determine exactly what they wanted. Fast forward to 2026, and Dave realized he was ready for a new chapter in his business career. He went looking for something that would let him capitalize on his strengths and experience. Real estate was a natural fit: a business built on relationships, trust, and getting the details right for people making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Outside of work, Dave's proudest accomplishments have been with his family. He's been married to his wife for 33 years, and together they've been the biggest fans of their six kids' activities, which have included swimming, competitive dance, cheerleading, piano, and soccer.
