Hired in 2005 as a Firefighter with San Bernardino County Fire Department, Dave spent 15 years with the department, promoting to Captain in 2015. While working as a Fire Captain, Dave oversaw multiple budgets, was assigned as a HazMat Specialist, Urban Search and Rescue Team, and coordinated promotional testing and education for fire personnel from within. Dave left California in 2019 and chose to continue his career in Law Enforcement. Dave worked for 2 years as a Police Officer with Coeur d’Alene PD. After 17 years of combined service, Dave chose to exit public safety to spend more time with his family in August of 2021.
