Steve joined List Sothebys International Realty on November 15, 2018, having worked with Aloha Properties initially as a part-time REALTOR® with his late wife, Suni, beginning in September of 2004. He has been a full-time agent since late 2012, having also served as a Property Manager for six years as well as a successful REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®. He and late wife, Suni, were recognized by their clients as Aloha Aina Award Nomination REALTOR® Awards Program Nominees in 2008 for their exceptional service, and Steve was again recognized with nominations 2014-2019. He was recognized as a 2016, 2018 & 2019 Aloha Aina Awards Program Winner, one of 10 selected from his realtor colleagues in Hawaii.He has ensured that his clients are supported throughout the buyer and seller process and has maintained an outstanding reputation as a member of the team. He has diligently served as a REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® since retiring from federal service in December 2012 and constantly strived to improve his profession, serving his clients. He has a reputation as a detailed and results-oriented REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® and Property Manager experience for 6 years, and can be counted on to get the job done. Relentless in service and devoted in undertaking, he is a proven partner in real estate.He served in the federal service for over thirty-four years with Intelligence and Security Command and retired on December 31, 2012. He also served over twenty-seven years as an Army officer on active duty and in the U.S. Army Reserve until his retirement as a Colonel on December 1, 2005. Steve has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Chaminade University of Honolulu (cum laude) and an Associates degree in Police Science from the University of Hawaii. He has also completed the resident Army Force Management Course, Organizational Leadership for Executives, Personnel Management for Executives I & II, and the Sustaining Base Leadership and Management Course and was recognized as Best in Seminar 1 of 17 classmates. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer Course (CGSOC), Combined Arms and Services Staff School (CAS3), and the Military Police Officer Basic and Advanced Courses.Steve has also earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation and completed the At Home With Diversity (AHWD) course, as well as the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification, the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS), and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designations.
