About Lorraine Lyons

Lorraine Pipkin is proud to call Lowndes County home. Her family has deep roots in the community, having lived in the area for more than 50 years. She is the daughter of Reverend Eldridge and Marie Lyons. Reverend Lyons serves as pastor of Francis Lake Baptist Church, where Lorraine and her husband, David, are active members. A graduate of Lowndes High School, Lorraine continued her education at Valdosta State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Grades Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. She and David have been married for nearly 30 years and are proud to have built a loving, blended family with their three children. Lorraine retired from Lowndes County Schools after a successful career teaching fourth and fifth grades. Throughout the years, she and David have owned and managed numerous rental properties, giving her valuable firsthand experience in real estate investment and property ownership. Following the sale of David's business, Pipkins’ Motors, the couple relocated to Peoria, Illinois, where David served as general manager for several foreign automotive franchises. A few years later, they moved to Montgomery, Alabama, where Lorraine began her career in automotive sales and customer relations as a Business Development Center (BDC) Agent. Lorraine quickly distinguished herself as a top-performing BDC professional, working with Volkswagen, Volvo, Audi, and Porsche dealerships. She enjoyed helping customers find vehicles that met their needs, preferences, and budgets, and found great satisfaction in building lasting relationships with returning clients. Her success led to a management role, where she trained and mentored new BDC agents, combining her passion for helping others with her background in education. The Pipkins later relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah, where Lorraine worked for an Atlanta-based company specializing in marketing services for automotive dealerships. These experiences strengthened her skills in communication, customer service, marketing, negotiation, and relationship building—all qualities she now brings to her real estate career. Today, Lorraine is excited to serve buyers and sellers throughout South Georgia. With deep community ties, a lifelong commitment to helping others, and a strong background in education, sales, and customer service, she is dedicated to guiding clients through every step of the real estate process with professionalism, integrity, and care.
