About Joanna

Joanna Radford was born and raised in Rabun County and now calls neighboring Habersham County home. As a mother of three and wife to a local business owner, Joanna truly understands what living—and putting down roots—in the Northeast Georgia mountains is all about. Before joining Poss Realty, Joanna spent 15 years as the Administrator and CEO of her father’s auction company, Golden Memories. During that time, she worked closely with families through the liquidation of estates and the sale of real property, gaining invaluable experience during some of life’s most important transitions. In 2018, she brought that background to real estate, joining Poss Realty and focusing on both residential and commercial properties. Joanna is a licensed Associate Broker in Georgia and North Carolina and recently expanded her service area by earning her South Carolina real estate license. From “forever homes” and first-time buyers to empty nesters, vacation properties, and relocation clients, she is passionate about guiding people through every stage of homeownership with integrity, care, and clear communication. In 2024, Joanna’s sister, Jennifer Peters, joined the team. Together, they share a heart for building genuine, long-lasting relationships with their clients—before, during, and long after the transaction. Their collaborative approach ensures clients feel supported, informed, and truly cared for throughout the process. When she’s not busy serving her clients, Joanna enjoys spending time with family, working out, traveling, relaxing by the fire, and staying actively involved in her church. She feels incredibly blessed to live in the Northeast Georgia mountains and finds great joy in helping others make buying and selling a home a reality.
