Sonja Costner has been investing in real estate for over twenty years. She has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2014, helping her clients invest, sell, or buy the homes of their dreams. Sonja works with clients in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, and Pasco Counties. She has a special affinity for working in the communities of New Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Land O' Lakes, Lutz, Tampa, Temple Terrace, and Zephyrhills. She specializes in working with “For Sale By Owner” sellers, helping them list and prepare their homes to sell. Sonja is especially adept at getting her buyers' offers accepted in this competitive housing market. ​Sonja Costner earned her bachelor's degree from Hampton University and a master's degree from McDaniel College. She also completed post-graduate work at East Carolina University. Prior to entering real estate as a full time professional, she dedicated her life to serving students and their families in Florida and Maryland as a speech-language pathologist and specialist for exceptional children. ​In 2017, Sonja earned the nationally recognized designation of Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) through the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). She maintains professional memberships in NAR, Florida Association of REALTORS®, and Central Pasco Association of REALTORS® (CPAR). A coastal girl since birth, Sonja landed in Tampa Bay in 2003 from the South Carolina lowcountry, by way of a little peninsula in Southern Maryland known as Calvert County.
