To keep updated with the current market, Karyn has received her designation as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (the only designation awarded through the National Association of Realtors) and as a Certified Default Resolution Specialist. With these designations, she is able to advise homeowners at risk for foreclosure as to what their options are and help homeowners navigate their way through a short sale and advise them on what to expect from the process. She has closed many short sales on both the seller side and buyer side and was recently recognized as an up and coming star at John R Wood. Karyn was born and raised in Nashua, NH and graduated from the University of New Hampshire and the Dickinson School of Law (Penn State). After law school, she practiced transactional law at a large Philadelphia law firm. During her early years, she spent many winters shoveling snow off the driveway to her house in NH and Philadelphia. According to Karyn, “The day after my honeymoon, my husband and I moved to Naples. It was a hectic move for us, but at least there was no more shoveling snow in my future! Being from a cold climate, we understand why people are drawn to Naples. We have gorgeous weather, beautiful beaches and amazing wildlife. Being a Naples transplant, we remember the excitement and stress that moving brought, and my goal is for my clients to have as smooth a transaction as possible.” Rowan is a 20 year sales and marketing veteran who spent the majority of his career in the direct response and digital marketing business working on behalf of Fortune 50 clients and their advertising agencies. A serial entreprenuer, Rowan co-founded two digital ad networks, a graphic design and branding company, a wine bar & art gallery, an oil investment company, and most recently, the Naples International Film Festival, Naples' very own film festival. Rowan specialized in multiple business verticals throughout his career, including automotive, banking, cable, health care, political, sports franchises and restaurants. Rowan worked with some of the largest ad agencies and brands in the world - including every major domestic and import automotive manufacturer and their national/regional agencies. A sampling of clients included General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Toyota Motor Company, McDonalds, Burger King, Domino's Pizza, BBDO, Campbell-Ewald, Chiat Day, J. Walter Thompson , Saatchi & Saatchi, Young & Rubicam, Chevy Chase Bank, Barack Obama, Comcast Cable, Bertucci's, NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Washington Redskins and many others. Rowan is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Advertising (1994). He serves on the Board of Directors of the Naples International Film Festival, is a part time musician and enjoys everything cultural that Naples has to offer. Rowan was born and raised in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) and immigrated to the United States in 1980 and settled in the Philadelphia area, where he spent 23 years before moving to Naples and falling in love with our Southwest Florida version of "paradise".
