I began my real estate career in 1976 when I began building deep waterfront homes in Lighthouse Point, Florida in 1976. I continued building luxury waterfront homes until 1979 when interest rates went up to 21% and the building boom of the 1970's abruptly ended. Due to the fact that building was no longer an option, I sold the last of my models and began working as an investment advisor with EF Hutton. But my heart was still in real estate and when interest rates came back down to earth, I began working with Re Max One in Bowie, Maryland. I remained licensed in Florida as well as Maryland and D.C., and eventually returned to Florida after a three year hiatus. I moved from South Florida to the Orlando area in 2003, and built a home in East Orlando in the Avalon Park community, where my wife and I have lived ever since. My daughters and their husbands as well as my grandchildren are also residents of Avalon Park so it is an area that I know very well. All of East Orlando is a growing metropolis, adjacent to UCF and Lake Nona, this area continues to grow and flourish. I am a Certified Distressed Property Expert and have been fortunate to join Thomas Lynne Properties with a presence in the Conway and Avalon Park areas. This provides me office access to all areas of the city where I can meet clients. My clients are people from all over the state, who are either relocating to the Central Florida area or who are purchasing investment properties for themselves or their students who are attending one of the many Universities in the Orlando area. I enjoy working with people who are purchasing their dream home, looking for lucrative investments or just want to quickly and efficiently sell their home, whether it be a normal sale or a Short Sale. I’ve been doing this for 35 years, and as a result, since October 2010 to date, I am number three real estate agent in sales in Avalon Park and number 17 in closed sales in the 32828 zip code.
