19 Years in the Real Estate Business South Florida REALTOR, Broker-Associate, Real Estate investor and renovation specialist Michael Streur celebrates 19 years in the real estate business in 2012. A native of Holland, Michigan, Michael credits his Midwestern upbringing for shaping his core values, most important of which are honesty and professionalism in business. These are traits learned from his father and grandfather while working in the family's successful manufacturing business in Michigan. Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami in 1992, where he is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. In the same year, he began his real estate career by purchasing his first investment condominiums. In 1995, Michael returned to South Florida and purchased and renovated an architecturally significant home in Coconut Grove, followed by investments in ten more condominiums and homes in South Florida. In addition, Michael owned and operated a successful business on South Beach for seven years. Through each of these investments, Michael honed his skills in identifying, restoring, renovating and leasing both single family homes and condominiums, as well as the process of purchasing, operating and selling a small business. Today, Michael uses the skills learned across his career to counsel and consult with buyers and sellers of South Florida real estate as a REALTOR and Broker-Owner of Coastal Properties Realty South Florida. Michael is a specialist in luxury homes and condominiums in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, as well as investment and commercial properties.
