About John

Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, John Humphreville has been working in real estate for 40 years. With a father in the business, John grew up learning the ins and outs of the industry and developed a strong passion for real estate. John received his Bachelor of Science in real estate and finance from Penn State University, his Master of Arts in government from the University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctor from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. When he graduated, John began working as a commercial real estate associate. He took a short break from real estate while he was serving in various political posts as an aid to Dick Thornburgh, Governor of Pennsylvania and Attorney General during both Reagan and Bush’s presidential terms.Prior to joining Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, John practiced real estate law in Florida for 30 years. John and his wife of 40 years, Laurie, make up one of the most effective real estate teams in Naples. Laurie’s 14 years of experience combined with John’s broad and deep knowledge of the industry allow for an easy transaction for both buyers and sellers.Outside of real estate, John enjoys cycling and participating in triathlons. He is a deacon at the Covenant Church of Naples. Active in the Naples YMCA, John has been a counsel for 20 years, on the Board of Directors and spent two years as chairman.
