About J. Turner
A native of DeLand, Turner completed the Volusia County public school circuit and continued education at Stetson University. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, Turner worked in the sales, technology, and operations of a 501(c3) music festival company. Deciding to enter real estate in 2011, Turner became a licensed Sales Associate and began graduate work in real estate finance (Master of Real Estate) at the University of Central Florida. Besides numbers, databases, and financial analysis, Turner enjoys making rounds to the Downtown DeLand eateries and ensuring that people do not turn at the intersection of New York and Woodland avenues. Most at home with working through and explaining financial models for real estate transactions, Turner is also a designated e-Pro® and has experience with marketing in today’s real estate market. Outside of real estate, you can most likely find Turner playing music, assisting local non-profits with technology, and enjoying spring rolls at Oudum’s Thai or bacon at The Potato Patch.
