Art & Candis Hill began serving Destin/Emerald Coast communities in 1979. In our early years the closest super market to Destin was in Fort Walton Beach, and serious shopping, or going to the movies entailed a drive to the Mary Esther Mall, west of Fort Walton Beach. We™re pleased to be ranked in the top 10% of the Keller Williams Realty, Emerald Coast Office, the #1 producing office in the entire Emerald Coast Association of Realtors. We serve on our office ALC (Agent Leadership Committee). Such change! Our combination of white quartz sand beaches, emerald waters, and the world™s largest charter fishing fleet remained constant. A majority of the developable land in Destin and in South Walton County first came into commerce in the early 1990™s along with completion of the Mid Bay Bridge. Voila! Arthur Hill. After all of the considerable real estate experience below, my greatest satisfaction is assisting buyers and sellers in such a manner that they leave the closing table feeling they were well represented and unhesitatingly want to refer future business. An Alabama native, Arthur started out in the real estate business in Talladega Alabama shortly after graduating from the University of Alabama with a combination Business and Law Degree, where he also served as charter President of the Talladega Chapter of the National Association of Homebuilders. Along the way, career stops included service as Sr. Vice President of the full service multi office firm Waguespack Pratt, Inc. in New Orleans, Founding partner in HillWallen Realtors, President, G. Grant Dixon and Sons, a full service multi office firm with offices in Chicago™s western suburban communities. He also served as project director for a 29,000 acre new town adjacent to the Bay area in California, and has held broker™s licenses in AL, LA, FL, GA, WA, MS, and IL. He also served as a joint venture participant in development of Phases V and VA at Seascape Resort, and Managing Partner in the development of East Pass Towers in Destin after moving to Destin in 1979. Candis moved to Destin in 1979 from California. She now considers herself a "Califloridian"! She graduated from Pensacola State College with a merchandising degree. Candis is a second generation Realtor. Her father opened Parkway Realty in Ft. Walton Beach after retiring from the United States Air Force in the early 1970™s. She has been a Florida Realtor since 1981 and married her real estate instructor that same year. Candis and Arthur have been a team in business and life for 30 years. She earned her GRI designation in 1984 and over the years earned the Loss Mitigation Certification, Short Sale and Foreclosure Certification, and is a licensed Community Association Manager. Candis is qualified in all types of residential properties and enjoys the challenge of matching property and people.
