I have been working full ndash; time with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate since 2005 in Miami, Florida. I completed the Coldwell Banker Training program for Sales Associates in 2005 as well. I have been a member of wonderful Top Producing teams over the years. I work diligently from listing to closing, keeping everyone up to date and informed. I am not a native of Miami, although I have been here for more than 30 years. I was born in North Carolina and have lived in Connecticut, New Jersey, Jamaica, and St. Croix and Washington D.C. I graduated from University of Miami with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, with a minor in English Literature. After graduation I decided to make Miami my home. I taught middle-school English, Creative Writing, and Journalism in the Miami-Dade County school system. I am an avid reader. I always have a few books going at once and from different genres. Usually mysteries, gothic or historical fiction. This could explain how I am able to keep up with everything in my business life as well. . It could have something to do with the Gemini in me. My grandmother taught me how to knit when I was a kid. I was able to master scarves, hats and throws. So I usually have a project of some sort going...actually more than one (just like the books). I enjoy creative writing. "Notes to Self", and letters to whomever, are written and occasionally sent. One day someone will find all of the things that I write and wonder what to do with it! I found another aspect of my creative side, recently, in the area of coloring. I find it very relaxing and fun! I am always looking for new material. One of my passions has been found at Fairchild Botanical Garden. I decided that it was time to "give back". I am a volunteer at "Wings of the Tropics" at the garden. It is the butterfly house and I love being there. The garden is beautiful and the butterflies are simply lovely to watch. I have learned quite a bit and taken lots of photos that I display on Facebook and my blog. Experience:
