If you're anything like me, you probably seldom read these real estate biographies because they are either 1) the standard filler copy that has nothing to do with the agent represented (and probably the agent hasn't even read it) or 2) it is filled with a lot of hyperbole about how great the agent is yadda, yadda, yadda. Which again may have nothing to do with you or reality. I promise that If you are seriously looking for a real estate professional to represent you, read my bio and you will be able to make an informed decision about whether or not you want to work with me. So if you are still reading this.....here we go. I love working with people who have hopes and dreams related to real estate. And I love working in the SouthShore area of Tampa Bay which my great grandfather, Ralph May, discovered on a long trip from Michigan over 100 years ago now. After a few winters of coming south to hunt and fish he was hooked himself and is a big reason why I love the SouthShore area. My real estate expertise is built on a lifetime of working around the world in product marketing, business development, international management, and strategic negotiations. My business skills were honed in senior management positions in global marketing with responsibilities in over 30 countries while with one of the largest privately held International companies in the world and subsequently as CEO of 3 smallish international companies in the United States and Europe. I believe that education is a lifelong endeavor. I earned my BS degree from Michigan State University at 22 and my MBA in International Management from Duke Universities' Fuqua School of Business at 48. Each year I continue to read books and attend workshops and conferences to update my skills and keep my thinking fresh and pertinent. As a husband, father and grandfather I've learned how important it is to understand the needs and wants of others and nurture their desires and dreams. My wife, Karen, and I happily raised a son and daughter and now enjoy 3 grandsons to keep us busy in our family time. If you are looking for someone who is consistent over the long haul and will never settle for second best then I'm that person.
