I used to teach high school in Ohio. Now I sell real estate on the Gulf Coast, and the short version of how that happened is this: my wife Esta and I drove the whole coastline from Clearwater to Naples, looking for the place that made sense for our family of six. We found it in Venice. Before we made the move official, I bought and self-managed a short-term rental here — from Ohio, over a thousand miles away. That property is the house we live in now. Prior to our purchase in Venice I've run two other STRs, flipped houses, and built custom furniture, so when a buyer asks what a place actually needs before it's move-in or rental ready, I've usually already done it myself. I work alongside my wife, Esta — a Florida and Ohio-licensed broker with 20+ years in the industry, seven of them running her own brokerage, and deep experience with the complicated transactions most agents avoid. Between her transaction expertise and my hands-on investment and relocation experience, we cover the two things most people moving to Southwest Florida actually need: someone who's been through the process, and someone who knows how to protect them in it. We work with buyers and sellers across Venice, Wellen Park, Englewood, Nokomis, Osprey, Manasota Key, Casey Key, Sarasota, and Coastal Charlotte County.
