Jeffrey Vinson, Associate Broker has been a trusted Advisor, Real Estate Broker and Certified Appraiser for more than 40 years. During his career Jeff has represented his clients’ interests and needs in residential, commercial, and investor transactions in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Mr. Vinson graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. In 1974, Mr. Vinson started his real estate career as a salesperson and in three short years had become a Principal Broker of his own firm, Vinson and Associates which was headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. As the company continued to grow, Mr. Vinson affiliated his company with the Century 21 brand. The next fifteen years were devoted to building a quality organization that included three offices with over 125 real estate agents, a property management division, training division, and appraisal division. In 1992, Mr. Vinson sold the real estate brokerage division to Long and Foster Realtors and continued to build the appraisal company. Free from the day-to-day management responsibilities of multiple real estate offices, Mr. Vinson was free to expand his expertise in valuation and marketing of a wide variety of properties. Mr. Vinson has represented buyers and sellers in all types of transactions including residential, commercial, and investment property. Mr. Vinson has extensive experience in negotiating short sales, bank owned property, and the foreclosure process. Mr. Vinson’s team has sold millions of dollars of REO property for Asset Management Companies, Banks, and Federal Agencies. Mr. Vinson currently holds the prestigious appraisal SRA Designation from The Appraisal Institute and has completed over 50,000 residential, small residential income producing property, and commercial appraisals in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Region.
