Sherri Bigelow began her career in real estate in 2003. Additionally, she has earned the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®) designation, and she is a Certified Military Residential Specialist (CMRS). Sherri has also been recognized by the Delaware Real Estate Commission as an Associate Broker. A New Englander by birth, she made her way from Maine to Sussex County, Delaware, and parts in between. Along the way, she enlisted in the Army National Guard where she served in a field communications unit. Sherri then transferred to the Air National Guard with a full-time position in security at the air base in New Castle, Delaware. That led to an opportunity with the Air Force Reserves where she was assigned as a C-5 loadmaster flying with the planes and guarding them. Her unit and sister unit were activated for Operation Desert Storm/Shield in 1990 and were on activation for over a year. Sherri holds a baccalaureate degree in criminal justice from Wilmington University. Both Sussex and Kent Counties are the territories where Sherri manages her real estate practice. She prides herself on the ability to work with sellers and buyers, specializing in REO (bank-owned) properties and assisting sellers in a bank short-sale position. She also has the in-depth knowledge to work with first-time homebuyers, negotiate for buyers on new construction properties, and has experience selling lots and land. She can help you find investment properties, too. An animal lover, Sherri shares her home with her extended family and multiple dogs and cats, including two rescue pets.
