Since childhood, Chanelle has had a passion for the community of New Haven, where she was born and raised. As a young adult, she made the decision to attend Albertus Magnus College, a school closely tied to her community. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Human Service, Chanelle continued to work in the field, now having over 15 years of experience. This work helped her realize that the needs in her community were greater than the resources that she was able to provide. Through both her personal and professional relationships, Chanelle learned that the people within her own community desired to purchase and sell their own homes but also wanted an agent who they were able to connect with, and ultimately trust with one of the biggest decisions of their life. The needs of her community have been one of the determining factors in her decision to practice real estate. In her own life, Chanelle remembers her own homebuying experience as a young married woman and after several years of marriage, she ultimately sold her family home when she divorced. Her personal experience allows her to have the perspective of both a home buyer and seller. As an agent, she has been able to foster several relationships within the real estate community, while also gaining extensive knowledge of the home buying and selling process. In addition, her membership in the National Association of Realtors and the Connecticut Association of Realtors, affords her the opportunity to stay current on the best practices and latest industry trends. She understands the importance of remaining committed to her educational and professional development.
