About William
Like Colonel Sanders at the tender age of 65, I decided to change careers. My sister, Joni Klein, has urged me to get a real estate license over the past 40 years. She pointed out that for the past 40 years real estate had been my hobby. In the meantime, I have done diversity of things, more than half has been some form of self-employment. Everything from owning an insurance agency (boring), to being the US presence for an International Trade Brokerage. Marketing and sales have been themes for most of my work, with some diversions. One time I joined the Army, which took me to Korea for almost three years, as a Korean linguist. Another time I was a newspaper reporter. I was the last of my family to defect to the Western Slope from Denver, spending about 20 years in Montrose and the past 5 in Grand Junction. My proudest work was my contribution to raising my two adult children. During that time, I met the love of my life, Lisa, and acquired a blended family. We are proud parents of five adults now, with 16 grandkids. As a realtor, I get the tremendous emotional reward of the opportunity to help people change their lives.
