About Wayne

Depending on the circumstances, buying, building or selling a home can be exciting, frustrating and in some case, traumatic. My goal in working with clients is to make the process as smooth and trouble-free as possible. Based on years of sales experience working with individuals in corporate America, I have come to understand that making a good, informed decision requires having good, accurate and timely information. Providing this information to clients and serving as a trusted advisor, has earned the respect of my clients and led to long term relationships. I have brought these same values to my clients in real estate; I enjoy helping them to navigate the buying, building or selling process and come to the best informed decision that meets their needs. With over 30 years in sales & marketing I am comfortable working with clients having varied needs and am able to understand the needs of my client & provide solutions that satisfy these needs. Having traveled extensively throughout the U.S., I am knowledgeable about different market areas and am able to provide assistance to out-of-town buyers. As a resident of Colorado for 28 years, 12 of those years in Colorado Springs. I am familiar with El Paso, Teller & Boulder counties as well as mountain communities and am especially knowledgeable about northern El Paso county communities. In addition, I have worked with several top builders in the Colorado Springs area and have helped clients to buy land, to locate builders for custom homes and to purchase single family homes. Having built several personal residences while working with designer/builders & architects, I understand the process and can serve as a knowledgeable advocate for the client who is building or buying their first home or their “dream home”. I firmly believe that building a good relationship with a client is integral to the success of the project. Like building a home, it takes time and work; it’s a process, not an event. Some values I feel are important in building the relationship include: Honesty. Admitting you’re wrong when you’re wrong. Integrity. Doing it right the first time because doing the right thing is the right thing to do. Trust. The foundation of any relationship. On a personal note, I am originally from Cleveland and Brecksville, Ohio. Following high school I attended Cornell University where I received my engineering degrees. My wife and I built our first home in Bucks County, PA where we lived for 20- years. We moved to Colorado in 1986, first to the foothills of Boulder County where we built another home. Since 2002 we have been residents of Colorado Springs and currently reside in Black Forest. I enjoy skiing, sailing and golf and serve on the El Paso County Emergency Service Agency board and on various HOA committees in our community.
