About Tina

Tina Valles is a California native who grew up in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a teenager, her uncle—a passionate rock climber—introduced her to the mountain lifestyle in Mammoth Lakes and Yosemite National Park, California. During those formative years, Tina often said, “When I grow up, I want to live in the mountains.” That dream became reality when, in 2005, she returned to the United States with her Danish husband and their two children to make Southwest Colorado their home. They were drawn to a lifestyle where outdoor adventure, ski resorts, and hot springs were right in their backyard—allowing them to enjoy everyday life as others might experience on vacation. Before transitioning into real estate, Tina owned and operated a 5-star organic spa and esthetics school in Durango for over six years. She now combines her entrepreneurial background, client service expertise, and business experience with her passion for real estate. Tina works with buyers and sellers of all property types to help them achieve their real estate goals. Her deep knowledge of the Southwest Colorado market, paired with her helpful and sincere personality, are qualities her clients consistently value. Outside of real estate, Tina and her husband enjoy spending time with family and cooking at home. They love mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding, hiking, and dancing Argentine tango together. Tina is also a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor and a proud grandmother to her grandson, Nash Thunder.
