About Marta

My journey into real estate began long before I became an agent. It began with a decision. Originally from Peru, I arrived in Aspen in 2000 as a young single mother with two children, limited financial resources, and very little English. I left my career as a teacher to build a better future for my family. Starting over required determination, resilience, and hard work. While learning English, I worked in the food and beverage industry and built and operated my own property management businesses. I became a homeowner and investor, and after working closely with Aspen real estate professionals, I earned my real estate license. Every chapter of my journey shaped the professional I am today. Hospitality taught me to listen, anticipate needs, and deliver exceptional service. Property management gave me firsthand knowledge of property ownership, maintenance, and the responsibilities that come with it. Investing taught me to evaluate opportunities, understand risk, and look beyond the immediate transaction. Real estate strengthened my expertise in negotiation, strategy, market analysis, and protecting my clients’ interests. Together, these experiences have given me a perspective that goes beyond the transaction. I understand the details that can make a difference in a property, the financial considerations behind a real estate decision, and the importance of approaching every transaction with honesty, respect, accountability, and commitment. I began my real estate career in Aspen in 2017. In 2019, I moved to Denver, where I continued my career while expanding my expertise in the Denver market, maintaining my license & continuing to serve clients throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. Today, with nine years of real estate experience and more than two decades of Colorado experience, I serve clients across both markets—from the Denver Metro area to the Roaring Fork Valley, including Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, Silt, New Castle, and Rifle. Knowing both markets allows me to provide clients with local knowledge, broader perspective, and experienced guidance whether they are purchasing their first home, selling a property, relocating, investing, completing a complex transaction, or building and growing a real estate portfolio. As a real estate investor myself, I understand that a property can represent far more than a transaction. It can provide a home, security, income, financial independence, and a foundation for generational wealth.
