Maria received two degrees from University of Colorado, Boulder in Journalism and Mass Communication, and brings professional experience from a few local television stations to her real estate career. She served as the former Vice President of the Red Shield Salvation Army Advisory Council (2013), where she facilitated fundraising projects for inner-city youth, and continues to volunteer her time and talents with organizations throughout the city.
