Lindsay earned her real estate license because “helping people take that next major step in their lives is absolutely fulfilling.” Lindsay’s clients ranged from despondent first-time buyers who thought they were priced out of the market, to families needing more space and empty nesters downsizing. She also worked closely with developers, gaining insight into the construction and new build process. Lindsay knew, however, that she needed to find a niche. Reflecting on the divorces she witnessed of so many loved ones, she knew people are often forced to make significant financial decisions at extremely emotional times. So, she became a Certified Divorce Real Estate Professional™ (CDREP) and real estate collaboration Specialist in Divorce, as well as an accredited REALTOR®. “I am passionate about guiding my clients with grace, purpose and expertise.” After a few years in practice, the opportunity at Kentwood presented itself and the choice was clear. “Their size fuels their commitment to building community. Large enough that everyone knows the name but small enough that an agent or client never feels like a number.” Lindsay is equally committed to mentoring young women. “We are taught to be pleasers and accommodating, rather than entrepreneurs, leaders and disruptors. Girls need to realize at any given moment they have the power to say, ‘this is not how my story ends’ and change things.” When she has time, she loves escaping to the beach, happy hour-ing with friends and hitting the gym. An interesting fact, Lindsay looked to Winnie The Pooh for solace when sending her son off to college. “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
