With a career spanning more than four decades across energy development, project management, and real estate investment, Jamie Brown brings a depth of experience and strategic insight that sets him apart in today’s market. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of the Pacific, with advanced studies in neo-tectonics and coastal processes at UC Davis—an academic foundation that shaped his analytical approach to complex projects. Jamie began his career managing large-scale energy and commercial real estate projects across the United States, overseeing financing, permitting, and operations in markets including Texas, California, Colorado, and Wyoming. In 1989, he founded JK Brown, Inc., where he led the development and financing of major energy and real estate initiatives. His portfolio includes significant involvement in Denver properties such as West End Lofts, Canyon Villas, The Bluffs at Castle Creek, and multiple prominent downtown acquisitions. Since 2011, Jamie has owned and managed a portfolio of residential investment properties on Maui, specializing in both long-term and short-term rentals in Ka’anapali and Lahaina. As a licensed real estate professional, he has successfully represented buyers and sellers in West Maui, offering clients a seasoned perspective grounded in investment strategy, market knowledge, and hands-on ownership experience. Now relocating back to Denver, Jamie is excited to bring his expertise back to Colorado, helping clients navigate the market with confidence—whether buying, selling, or investing. Outside of real estate, Jamie enjoys long-distance swimming and has completed the Maui Channel swim four times. He and his wife of 44 years, Bari, have two sons and enjoy an active lifestyle, including spending time outdoors and walking their Ridgeback, Ray.
