About Brian McLaughlin, MBA, MSA,

I was born and raised in New England and have lived and worked in a variety of resort locations both in the U.S. and internationally. I have an extensive background in large-scale resort, recreational and residential community development and operations. As a developer, my various involvements have taken me across the United States, from Florida to Hawaii; and into The Bahamas, the West Indies, Central America, and, most recently, the U.A.E. I have been a licensed real estate broker in several states for over 30 years, and I currently hold active real estate broker licenses in Florida and Colorado. I have managed the marketing and sale of over $1.5 billion of real estate assets including: land, all types of residential products, fractional interests and timeshares, hotels, and commercial properties. As a nationally registered, licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, I can also assist you with arranging a mortgage loan, if desired. I received my B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard University and my M.B.A. degree, with distinction, from Harvard Business School. I obtained an M.S.A. degree from The George Washington University and attended Boston College and Suffolk University Law Schools. With this combination of experience and academic background, I offer my clients a level of analysis and knowledge of the resort real estate industry that most brokers can’t bring to the table. And, as an avid outdoorsman, enjoying skiing in the winter and fly fishing and hiking in the Colorado mountains in the summer, I share the enthusiasm that individuals and families have for Summit County's mountain lifestyle.
