About Ryan E

I am a Licensed Real Estate Agent in the States of Hawaii AND California. I am also an FAA Licensed UAS Pilot, videographer and professional aerial photographer. I have been selling Real Estate, listing Real Estate and creating websites for my clients since 1998. Through the years of marketing property, I realized the need for additional education in many different aspects of Real Estate and Marketing. Seems like I'm always doing some type of continuing education class in order to stay connected and current with local, state and federal regulations that change often from state to state. I was born and raised in California prior to relocating to the State of Washington. I graduated High School in 1990 in Washington State and went right into partnership with my Dad as a co-owner and General Contractor of Ranch and Home Construction, building throughout the State of Washington. In 1991 I had my first son, Devin. I managed the construction company working with clients and supply stores, creating blueprints and applications with various building departments throughout the state. I trained workers and physically participated in the construction of over 100 buildings. In 1996 I had my second son, Jordan. I was slowly building my own future construction crew! Also, in 1996, my Dad handed Ranch and Home Construction over to me so Dad could get his Real Estate License. I supervised the company until 1998 when I decided to shift directions myself due to a job-related injury. I studied for my first license, took the Washington State Exam and became full time Licensed with The Real Estate Company of America. In 2001 I ran for City Councilman, I won two terms and served for a total of 6 years. From 2002 – 2012 I was the North County’s representative Board Member of the largest Health District in the State of Washington on a 6 person panel. I had an amazing time raising my two oldest sons in Washington, living, loving, thriving and prospering. In 2012 I decided to relocate to Kailua Kona, Hawaii for a new experience. I maintained my Washington License and continued to list Washington properties while I launched my Hawaii Blog entitled “Kona-Hi.com” (now, 36,000 followers). In 2013 I had my third son, Ethan. Ethan is my special little man and my sidekick. Don’t be surprised to meet Ethan on a showing or a meeting. Continuing with my plan to incorporate my blog with selling Hawaii Real Estate, I got my FAA Part 107 Drone license in 2017. I studied for and passed my Hawaii Real Estate Exam and got my License in 2018. I obtained my California Real Estate License in September 2019. I have sold in excess of 300 separate Tax Parcels in Washington alone and I now travel back and forth from Hawaii to California with my drone in-tow. I love my job. I enjoy traveling around researching real estate and I continue to this very day working full time helping clients achieve their real estate dreams whether they are looking for Investments, Recreation or Primary use.
