I specialize in resort real estate in La Quinta, Indian Wells, Palm Desert and the other desert cities. I was raised in upstate New York and educated in the east. I moved to the west in the early 1990’s and came to the valley as a full time resident in the fall of 2000. I began my real estate career in 1997 building on a lengthy history of sales and marketing work in a variety of industries. My favorite description of the residential real estate business is that it is not really a sales job, it is much more like a consulting engagement. Buyers and sellers both need to be educated on the nature of the market and the current conditions before they can make well-informed decisions. A good agent will work extensively with a buyer to find out what is driving their purchasing decision and what the proper search parameters are. Without that knowledge, buyers and agents will waste countless hours looking at the wrong properties. The methods of discovering those needs and wants are the result of years of personal experience … which is the real value I feel I provide for my clients.
