When I was 12 years old I came to this country as an immigrant, with my family having very little. We didn’t have much, but we worked hard and slowly built a good life here in San Francisco. Growing up, I went to public schools, then worked my way through community college and university, eventually earning my law degree. The journey wasn’t always easy. After law school, I moved around with my husband, practicing law in New York and Illinois. Even though I had a successful career, I was always driven by the idea of home ownership — the feeling of security, comfort, and having a place that truly belongs to you. When we moved back to San Francisco and started a family, I knew I wanted to help others achieve that same sense of belonging, especially in a city as challenging as this one. After running a real estate law firm in Illinois, I decided to shift gears and go into real estate full-time when we settled back in San Francisco. It was a big change, but I knew this city so well, and I was passionate about helping families find their dream homes in a place that meant so much to me. Now, I use everything I’ve learned — from practicing law to my deep knowledge of San Francisco — to help young professionals, families, and first-time buyers get into their first homes.
