About Lori

Lori Akhter is a NestSeekers Realtor® and a former software-marketing executive. Her first house she helped sell, sold in less than a week for 15% more than what they bought it for the year before. She has secured luxury rentals at the lowest price they have ever gone. The first proposal she wrote garnered a multi-million-dollar contract. She was the youngest person who was interviewed for reality show, The Apprentice; and she announced the news and sports for TV Western and was nominated for, “Best News Anchor”. She also served two years as an Army Reservist. Her passion for real estate combined with having lived in Malibu, Beverly Hills, Bel Air and Laguna Beach gives her an intimate knowledge of various neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. She lives with her husband and cat in Malibu. They love eating at local restaurants (try restaurants in Malibu, they are so good!) and weekends in Santa Barbara. Lori holds a B.A. in Journalism, Graduate certificate in writing (now Masters of Arts). She has also taken many law classes, including one from Yale. In high-school, she attended both public and private schools including ACS Cobham and Ridley. She received the math award and the Banting Award for Athletic Excellence and Sportsmanship.
