About Gene

Gene was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended college in Michigan, graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering, before relocating to California. He has lived in Marin for over 25 years, where he raised two children, a girl and a boy. He greatly enjoyed helping them grow, coaching girl's and boy's soccer teams, Little League and participating in the YMCA Indian Princess and Indian Guides programs, among many other activities. Gene has been a top producer at both Frank Howard Allen and Bradley Real Estate, achieving Chairman's Club level in two of the last three years at both companies. He specializes in Residential and Investment Real Estate in Marin and Sonoma counties. Gene considers himself an expert and trusted Real Estate advisor rather than a salesman. Prior to his career in real estate Gene was Corporate Controller at Pacific Bell and Pacific Gas and Electric. I am certified as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and have taken numerous classes to upgrade my skills, such as Investment Properties; 1031 Tax Exchanges; Sonoma County courses on septic systems & wells; Foreclosures and Short Sales and courses at the Graduate Realtor’s Institute. I am a Certified Distressed Properties Expert and have worked for several banks listing their foreclosed properties. I am skilled in financial calculations and provide clients with decision making analysis such as net sale proceeds, loan payment tables with tax effects, rent equivalent calculations, break even charts for multi unit properties and more. I download MLS data and provide spreadsheets that screen for best investment returns on multi units.
