His grandfather purchased one of the first homes built on Mill Valley's East Blithedale Avenue, not far from where he raises his two daughters today, and the same house where he and his six siblings grew up. Gary’s career has been built on a strong work ethic and strong relationships. Driven by these core principles and an innate entrepreneurial spirit, Gary started several businesses in Marin, including the longest continuously operating fitness facility in Mill Valley. There he gained invaluable experience in business operations, sales and customer service and was fortunate to have built a large, local customer base. Many locals still jokingly refer to him as the "Mayor" of Mill Valley.
