About Bruce

A South Bay resident since 1972, Bruce Bernard started working in real estate 30 years ago as an investor in single-family residences and apartments. After receiving a master’s degree in business administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, Bruce pursued a career in business. He went on to become chief financial officer of five companies and then purchased a technology company, which he ran for 10 years. After a successful career in business, Bruce became a full-time Realtor in 2009. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of the South Bay and using his business skills to help clients meet their goals. Bruce has two grown daughters, and his significant other, Kathy, is vice president of sales for a major furniture manufacturer. They enjoy spending winter weekends on the ski slopes. Coming from a family of golfers—his mother was a well-known amateur golfer—Bruce spends his free time perfecting his game.
