About ALLISON

My name is Allison Dowdy, I was born at an army base called Fort Benning, in Columbus, Georgia. I was raised in the Panama Canal Zone, in Panama City were my father was stationed. I lived in Panama until the age of 17 with my mother after my parents separation, at which time I came to live with my father in Rohnert Park, California. I graduated with a B.A. from Sonoma State University at the age of 21 and got my Masters at age 24. I started in the field of Real Estate Investments at the age of 23. Purchase my first plot of land sub-dividable into four parcels in 1983, within 1 year, I owned my first duplex, a year later, I built my third home at the site. In 1984, I started a company called Hillside Properties Sales and Investments, and after refinancing everything I owned and borrowing from two hard money lenders I purchased a 28 unit town home project called Hillside Village in 1985 and a 27 unit project called Bears Meadows in 1989. In 1987 and 1990 I personally subdivided two projects, created homeowners associations and sold them individually. By utilizing the 1031 exchange process, I have personally acquired, purchased and sold over 220 properties since then, everything from new home construction, remodels and town home projects to Commercial Buildings, Shopping Centers and Real Estate Businesses. I have vast experience in all aspects of Real Estate, and I will be invaluable in the sales process of your property. I have worked on bank owned properties now for two seasons of slow markets. I have represented buyers and sellers in over 1000 transactions over the past 10 years.
