About Abel

Abel Ramos, a licensed and top producing California Broker, has joined COMPASS Santa Barbara. Over the last 13 years as a brokerage owner, Abel has sold almost 600 homes, putting him in the top 1% for sales volume in the country. In addition to sales, Abel has renovated and rebuilt dozens of highly distressed homes from the ground up, owned and operated apartment complexes and grown a successful real estate investment company. Abel is a California native and graduated with a Business Degree from Pepperdine University, where he met his wife and now business partner, Christina Doheny. After 12 years of growing to be one of the top brokerages in Kern County, they made the decision to leave his successful brokerage, so they could raise their family in Christina's home town of Santa Barbara. Abel is excited and energized by the culture, architecture and community that Santa Barbara encompasses. Abel spends his very precious free time with Christina, his two boys Graham and Griffin, his dog Callie and his horse Shiloh. Abel brings with him the knowledge of hundreds of transactions, giving him the foundation to understand the intricacies of marketing, negotiation, transactional processes and attention to detail necessary in a successful real estate sale.
