About Nicole
Nicole brings a diverse background to The Karas Group. She is a philanthropist, a licensed attorney, a mom of three incredible kids, and has been happily married to retired NFL player, Billy Cundiff, for sixteen years. She is happiest when she is busy, is extremely detail-oriented, loves a challenge and is highly motivated. After graduating from Drake University, Nicole and Billy moved to Texas to start his NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys. Nicole made the most of their time in Texas by attending law school and taking the Arizona Bar exam. Nicole practiced law for almost four years before choosing to focus on their growing family. As a result of the nomadic life of the NFL, Nicole became somewhat of a relocation expert. She and Billy made homes in five different states, not including countless corporate apartments. Nicole understands the complexities of relocating and is well-qualified to offer advice to anyone going through both planned and unplanned housing changes. In addition to her family's countless moves, remodels and home purchases, Nicole also actively invests in real estate with her husband throughout the Valley. Having first hand experiences, she is well-acquainted with real estate transactions and as such, she strives to deliver a customer-centered experience. As an Arizona native, Nicole is deeply entrenched in the Valley community. She is actively involved with many different causes on both a local and national level. Nicole co-founded Colleen’s Dream Foundation in honor of her mom’s battle with ovarian cancer. In the last four years, Colleen’s Dream has granted almost one and a half million dollars to ovarian cancer research at the leading research institutions around the country, including TGEN, Johns Hopkins, Duke University and the Stand Up 2 Cancer Dream Team, to name a few. In 2017, Nicole received the Outstanding Medical Philanthropy by AZ Big Media on behalf of her work for Colleen’s Dream. In 2016, she was one of 12 executives profiled in Executive Inc by the Phoenix Business Journal and was a Phoenix Business Journal Health Care Hero nominee. Aside from her important work with Colleen’s Dream, Nicole also recently co-chaired the inaugural Great Hearts Gala, which raised over a half-million dollars to support programs for the incredible teachers at her children’s school. She and her daughter are also proud members of National Charity League. Nicole graduated from Scottsdale Leadership in 2017 (Class 30) and visits Washington DC almost annually to advocate for continued ovarian cancer research funding. Nicole loves working out, attending sporting events, reading, wine tasting, traveling and listening to live music.
