Mike Searcy, PHD “The Professor” Founder of Snowbird Nation brokered by eXp Realty. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Mike has been involved in the art and science of Real Estate in some capacity since 1998. A STRONG advocate for buyers, sellers, and investors. While he has a PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, much of his background has been in training and specifically training in the areas of negotiation. He earns his title of “The Professor” everyday and is often referred to as the professor of Advocacy, Real Estate Contracts and Negotiation. He not only represents his clients as a master in the industry, he trains the Snowbird Nation team to do and be the same. His background is heavy in education, holding advanced degrees in communication from two universities: a master’s degree from Saint Louis University and the aforementioned PhD from the University of Iowa. He has a history of consulting with, developing, and training teams and C-Suite level executives with such organizations as Lockheed Martin, Navy Federal Credit Union, Abbott Labs, Argonne National Laboratory, Calder Casino, and other influential nationally acclaimed organizations. Alternatively, he has provided coaching and training to such governmental agencies as NASA, NSA, TSA, FDA, USCIS, Bureau of Indian Affairs, various colleges, universities and more! Mike has been a member of Toastmasters International, The Rotary Club, The Knights of Columbus and is a former Boy Scout (yes, he earned his Eagle Scout and loves to Camp). He is an avid animal lover and actively seeks to get involved with developmental opportunities related to the Humane treatment of animals within our communities. In his spare time, he also enjoys woodturning and cooking. His personal mission is to "Empower others to empower themselves from vision to action!"
