About John

John Fagundes is the Designated Broker, Owner and founder of AZ Real Estate & Property Management (AZREAPM), but real estate is much more than a career for him—it has been a major part of his life for more than two decades. Licensed in Arizona since 2003 and a broker since 2008, John has helped hundreds of buyers and sellers navigate everything from their first home purchase to luxury homes, second homes and investment properties. In 2009, he founded AZREAPM and grew the company into a full-service real estate and property management business serving homeowners and investors throughout Arizona. John’s experience gives his clients a perspective that goes well beyond simply buying or selling a house. As a broker, business owner, property manager, real estate investor and instructor at the Arizona School of Real Estate & Business, he understands real estate from many different sides of the transaction. He believes clients deserve straightforward advice—even when that advice may not be what they expected to hear—and that a great real estate relationship should continue long after closing. Family is at the center of John’s life. He and his husband, Jared, have built their life and businesses together while raising their two children, Ayden and Taylar Rae. Some of John’s favorite time is simply being with his family, whether they are relaxing at home, traveling or spending time together away from the demands of work. When he isn’t working in real estate, John has another passion: aviation. He is a pilot-in-training and enjoys the challenge of learning to fly, something that reflects the same curiosity and drive that have shaped his career. John also understands real estate personally. He has owned, managed and invested in properties himself, giving him firsthand experience with many of the same decisions his clients face—whether that means purchasing a home, selling an investment, managing rental property or deciding what makes the most sense financially over the long term. After more than 20 years in the industry, John still believes the most important part of real estate is the people. His goal is to make sure every client feels informed, protected and comfortable making decisions that are right for them.
