About Dave

I am a Phoenix Native and I grew up in Moon Valley, which is a small neighborhood in North Phoenix. I attended Brophy College Prep back in high school and I was accepted to the University of Colorado where I studied Film Making and obtained a BFA in Film Studies. Shortly thereafter, I moved back to Phoenix where I was saving up money to eventually go to Los Angeles. As fate would have it, I met my ex-wife at this time and ended up moving to New York City instead. I worked in Film and Television as an Art Director for about 5 years, but eventually felt the pull to return home to Phoenix. In 2005 I moved back to Phoenix with my now ex-wife and began my career in Real Estate. Well, that marriage wasn’t in the cards and I ended up divorcing and meeting my beautiful bride in 2007. We have 3 amazing young children and we live in Moon Valley! My life has come full circle. People often ask me if I like working in Real Estate and the answer is a resounding “YES, I love it”! I have worked in a plethora of different fields both as a regular employee and in self-employment. I actually got into Real Estate on a whim and it has been the best decision of my professional career. I enjoy helping other people whether it be a business owner or a first-time home buyer. Every deal is different and that is what makes Real Estate so exciting. It is a field in which you learn something new every day and get to help make peoples dreams comes true! Professional Experience: I began Real Estate at a small Re/Max office in Laveen when I first moved back to Phoenix from Brooklyn, NY. I cut my teeth in Laveen and then moved back to a familiar neighborhood in North Central Phoenix in 2008. I have always loved this part of town since I grew up in the area. Around this time I started expanding my client database to include investment companies; after all, investors were the only people buying homes in 2008 with the downturn of the market! By 2010 the engine was up and running well. Not only had my knowledge of Real Estate become much more well rounded, I was handling an average of 7-15 deals at a time. In 2013 I made the jump over to HomeSmart Elite. This is a special office for only top producing agents within the brokerage. Our offices are located off Central Ave between Missouri and Camelback in the heart of the North Central Corridor. I handle everything from large commercial transactions to the purchases of single-family residences. Most of my clients are residential buyers and sellers but I do work closely with some local developers and builders on the commercial end as well. I offer competitive rates, professional knowledge and experience, expert negotiating skills, local connections, and a one-of-a-kind personality.
